Summary:
As a part of the Housekeeping Department, this position will be responsible for performing general cleaning and
assigned routine deep cleaning tasks in areas within the hospital and offsite locations when needed. Completes
project cleaning tasks as assigned which could include floor care, upholstery cleaning and window washing.
Responsible for routine collection of soiled linen, trash, and medical waste. Also responsible for the restocking
and distribution of cleaning supplies and linen
Education
Educational:
Must be a high school graduate (or equivalent with GED). Those hired prior to 8/1/2012, may qualify under the
previous requirements of completion of the eighth grade.

Experience
Years of Experience Type of Experience Required/Preferred:
Minimum of one year experience in hospitality services as well as experience in the healthcare environment is
preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be capable of utilizing computer
based programs to perform mandatory education. Must be able climb and stand on ladders, lift 25- 35 pounds
unassisted, 50 pounds assisted, and push wheeled carts up to 100 pounds.
